StandardFlow Launches AI-Powered Compliance Automation for Advanced Manufacturing

New platform tackles the qualification bottleneck for regulated manufacturing, automatically identifying compliance gaps and turning engineering evidence into actionable qualification roadmaps.

CHICAGO, IL — October 27, 2026 — StandardFlow, Inc. today announced the launch of its AI-powered standards compliance automation platform for regulated manufacturing. Initially focused on additive manufacturing (AM), the platform automatically analyzes engineering documentation against technical standards, identifies compliance gaps, and generates source-linked assessments to accelerate qualification preparation. StandardFlow addresses a major bottleneck slowing industrial 3D printing adoption across aerospace, maritime, medical, and defense industries.

In the current manufacturing landscape, a qualified AM part is often blocked by proof, not the printing process itself. Suppliers frequently struggle to map engineering evidence—such as material certificates, build reports, and inspection records—to applicable technical standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Today, this mapping is largely a manual, senior-engineer-dependent task that is prone to late-cycle discoveries of evidence gaps.

“Industrial AM cannot scale on manual evidence-to-standard mapping,” said Michael Molitch-Hou, Co-Founder and CEO of StandardFlow. “We are building the missing qualification layer that sits between engineering evidence and standards authority. Our mission is to automate the most labor-intensive aspects of qualification, transforming complex engineering data into traceable compliance assessments and actionable roadmaps that allow production to move at the speed of innovation.”

StandardFlow’s analysis engine combines automated consistency checks with contextual AI to evaluate engineering evidence against individual standards requirements. The platform identifies missing documentation, conflicting specifications, outdated revisions, and other qualification risks, providing source citations, confidence indicators, and recommended corrective actions. Its evidence-based approach flags unsupported compliance determinations while keeping engineers in control of final review and approval.

In a demonstration involving a fictional naval support-bracket project, StandardFlow analyzed synthetic engineering documentation against five U.S. military standards. The platform identified conflicting material specifications, inconsistent engineering revisions, and inspection equipment used 37 days after its calibration expired. The 146-page report connected these findings to specific standards requirements and recommended corrective actions.

StandardFlow is advised by Uli Langer, an AM executive and entrepreneur whose experience spans industrial 3D printing, venture development, and technology commercialization, including leadership roles with AM Ventures and AM Turbines.

“Large corporations often have entire departments dedicated to understanding the latest standards and ensuring compliance. Smaller companies typically don’t have those resources, even though they face the same requirements,” Langer said. “StandardFlow has the potential to make that process significantly more accessible and manageable. I think it addresses a very real need in the market.”

StandardFlow provides a built-in library of publicly accessible standards and allows users to upload additional standards and qualification documents for automated analysis. The company is also in active discussions with standards development organizations (SDOs) to expand the library through licensing partnerships for proprietary standards.

StandardFlow is now available to manufacturers seeking to accelerate standards compliance analysis and qualification preparation. Engineering teams can begin evaluating their technical documentation against supported standards with free introductory analysis credits at standardflow.io. Organizations seeking higher-volume analysis, custom standards, or collaborative qualification workflows can contact info@standardflow.io. Standards organizations and certification bodies are invited to discuss partnership opportunities.
